Prayer Strategy for the Unsaved

As we pray for lost souls it is good to remember that it is God’s passion to seek and to save that which is lost. He is
more concerned about them than we are. Seek then to pray His heart and His plan for them; His Word ~ He hearken
to perform the Word!

1. CONVICTION – John 16:8-11 ~ The Spirit of repentance
“He (Spirit of the Lord) shall convict the world of sin…righteousness and judgment”

2. QUICKENING – John 6:63
“It is the Spirit that quickens the flesh profits nothing.”

3. FAITH – Eph. 2:8 ~ The ability to trust Him who they do not yet see
“It (faith) is a gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast.”

4. EYES TO OPEN – II Cor. 4:4-6 Eyes of their understanding/heart to receive the Lord
“In whom the god of this world has blinded the eyes…God who commands light
to shine in the darkness has shined in our hearts to give the light of the
Knowledge of the glory of God…”

5. EARS TO HEAR – Rev. 3:20
“Behold I stand at the door and knock, if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in.”

6. WORD TO PENETRATE – Hebrews 4:12
“The Word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any two edged sword..”

7. WORD TO MELT & BREAK – Jeremiah 23:29 ~ Hard rocky places of the heart
“Is not my Word like a fire? It is like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces.”

8. WILL TO BE BROKEN – John 7:17
“If any man wills to do His will he shall know of the doctrine…”

9. BONDAGE TO SIN BROKEN – John 8:36
“If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.”

10. FATHER TO DRAW HIM – John 6:44
“No man can come to me, except the Father…draw him”

11. FATHER TO CALL HIM – John 6:37
“All that the Father gives me shall come to me…”

12. FATHER TO SHOW MERCY – Romans 9:16
“It is not of him that wills nor of him that runs but God, which shows mercy.”

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth (trusts,
clings to, relies on) in him (our part) should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

1 Pet 1:18, 19 “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold….
But with the precious blood of Christ….. ” The object which you purchase is always more valuable to you than the
price you payed for it, or you wouldn’t have bought it – God the Father knew you even before the foundation of the
world and the price which He would have to pay for you…. He sent Jesus to pay the price with His Blood!!!!

John 3:3,5-7 “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he
cannot see the kingdom of God…. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and
of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born
of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”

Rom 6:23 ” For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Rev 3:20 ” Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door (our part), I
will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” How? By the Holy Spirit (Jn.14:17; I Cor.3:16; I Cor.6:19).

 

Then you can start to have natural communication with God. After all, that is what you do when you have
company for supper.

John 1:12,13 ” But as many as received him ( our part ), to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to
them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but
of God.”

John 3:17, 18 “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might
be saved. He that believeth on him ( our part ) is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already,
because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Acts 4:12 ” Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men,
whereby we must be saved.”

Eph 2:8, 9 “For by grace (of God) are ye saved through faith (our part); and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of
God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

James 2:10, 11 “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. For he that
said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art
become a transgressor of the law.”

Lev 5:17 “And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments
of the LORD; though he knows it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.” To sin unknowingly is still sin.

Heb 9:22 “And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.”

Heb 9:26, 28 “For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the
world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself….. So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of
many…..”

Luke 13:1-5 “There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had
mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners
above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent (our part), ye shall
all likewise perish. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were
sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent (our part), ye shall all likewise
perish.”

Acts 2:38 “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the
remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”

Acts 3:19 “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing
shall come from the presence of the Lord;”

James 4:8-10 “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your
hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy
to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.”

Psa 51:10 Create in (name of loved one) _______ a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
2 Pet 3:9 “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to usward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

Rev 2:5 “Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come
unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.”

Rev 3:2, 3 “Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy
works perfect before God. Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If
therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon
thee.”

Rev 3:19 “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.”
Rom 10:9, 10; 13 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God
hath raised him from the dead (our part), thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;
and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation… For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be
saved.”

1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins (our part), he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness.”

1 John 4:15 “Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.”

Mark 8:36 “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”

1 Timothy 2:4 – Who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth

Eze 36:25-29 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all
your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take
away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and
cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. And ye shall dwell in the land that I
gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God. I will also save you from all your
uncleannesses

Jer 3:22 Return, ye backsliding children, I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we are come unto thee; for thou art
Jehovah our God.
