Core Values
Our governing Values
Love, Community, Doctrine, Development and Prayer are core values, which highlight what Rivers is all about.
DOCTRINE is pivotal to the growth, stability and soundness of the believer. God’s Word is the foundation and framework for all believers who will contribute to advancing His Kingdom. As a local assembly, we purpose utilize DOCTRINE as the blueprint for all we do.
COMMUNITY is imperative for the health, vitality and overall blessing of society. The strength and continuity of any entity is only as potent as the cohesiveness of its participants. COMMUNITY is the foundational core of God’s Kingdom and we are committed to see community flourish in our local assembly.
LOVE is the cornerstone of our local assembly. Therefore, we are adamant about cultivating LOVE in every aspect of our ministry. God is LOVE and the gifts He has given us and even our faith in Him works by LOVE.
DEVELOPMENT is essential to the activation and equipping of the believer. Christ spent over three years DEVELOPING His team. This ultimately led to His disciples being empowered to do the works He did. Rivers is dedicated to getting the same results, so we DEVELOP and DEVELOP again those we are called to disciple
PRAYER in Rivers is not just relegated to what we do, it’s a position we occupy. Christ as our Great High Priest forever lives to make intercession. Our local assembly was birthed out of a deep commitment to partner with Him and His eternal mandate. We unapologetically have purposed to be His House of PRAYER for all people.
